Amazing project opportunity for young people

Award-winning theatre company, Common/Wealth, has launched an incredible opportunity for young people aged 14-17 in Cardiff to have their say, gain new skills and turn their energy into positive action (and receive £10 per session for participating!).

Take Your Place is a new arts and activism project for young people aged 14–17 in Cardiff by Common/Wealth.

“Do you know a young person who’s full of ideas, energy and hope for change, but doesn’t yet know how to turn that into action? This is for them.”

What it is
Take Your Place is a 12-week creative project for young people aged 14–17 in Cardiff. Through art, theatre, writing and activism, participants will explore identity, power and social change – building skills, confidence and community along the way.

Where and when
Sessions run every Wednesday, 5:30–8:00 pm at the Grange Pavilion, from 7 January to 31 March 2025.

Expenses
Participants receive £10 per session, and travel costs are covered for those coming from other parts of Cardiff.

Taster session – Get a flavour of what it’s all about!

Young people can join the team on Wednesday 19 November, 6:00–8:00 pm at the Grange Pavilion to meet the team, ask questions and get support with applications.
