Calling amateur and professional litter pickers of Splott; the next KST litter pick will be on Saturday 29th of October at 10am.
We will meet at the back of the old STAR Centre (not the new Star Hub), by the entrance to the car park on Railway Street, and focus on Splott Road, Habershon St and surrounding area.
Gareth Davies from Keep Wales Tidy will once again join us and bring all the equipment. Thank you Gareth!
Keep Splott Tidy will soon be a constituted group with the ability to draw down funds for equipment and insurance, allowing us to go out and clean up the streets of Splott whenever we want. Until then, we really value Gareth’s undying enthusiasm and constant support.
We also now have our newly launched Facebook page where you can find out the dates of the next litter picks, share ideas and view all the photos from past events. Thanks Jim for setting this up!
If you have a few hours to spare on a Saturday morning and would like to meet new people, make a difference and have a laugh, please come along and join us. We’re a friendly bunch! Time credits are also on offer, which can be redeemed at loads of Cardiff venues and businesses. It’s a good way to get something back for giving!
