Super swap in Splott this Saturday!

Bring what you can share, take what you need! That’s the message for this Saturday’s awesome event at Railway Gardens.

Railway Gardens is a place for everyone to come together, make new friends, share skills, and develop ideas and is located at the site of an old playground next to the railway lines at the top of Adeline Street, just off Railway Street.

This Saturday they are holding a bring and take event where people can exchange unwanted items in exchange for something they may need. Or, just turn up and take something that takes your fancy!

Here’s what the team have to say about the event:

After the success of our mini Christmas Bring and Take we’re holding another one! Bring along the items you’d like to offer to others and take home what you need (whether or not you brought anything). Please bring along clean, useable items in good condition – the following are all welcome:

-clothes, shoes and accessories
-kitchen and home items
-gardening equipment & plants
-craft supplies
-books
-toys and games

Donations accepted between 9:30am-10:30am only on the day. We ask that you don’t bring broken items or anything in a condition that you wouldn’t be happy to receive yourself.

This is an event by and for the community so no traders please.

Registration is not required for this event but please feel free to register if you’d like an email reminder closer to the time.

You can register for the event here.

What a brilliant initiative that we’re so lucky to have on our doorstep! Please support by popping along if you can.
