Friday 12th September – Afternoon Tea Party – Splott

Organised by Splott Community Volunteers for members of the community of 65 years and over, the monthly afternoon tea party held in the centre at the back of the STAR on Splott Rd is full of fun, food, laughter and music (and is free!).

Taking place between 1pm and 3pm, participants will be waited on as they’re served a traditional high tea while local legend Francesca Dimech performs a range of songs from different eras.

There’s a spot of karaoke and sometimes fancy dress! It’s a blast!

Friday 12th September – Total Splottshow – Splott

Who says fundraising can’t be funny? As part of their 10th Anniversary celebrations, Splott Community Volunteers is thrilled (and maybe a little nervous) to launch their first ever stand-up comedy night: Total Splottshow!

Join them at the STAR Centre on Friday 12th September for an evening of laughs, community spirit, and a little chaos (the good kind). Doors open at 6pm, and it’s adults only (18+) so leave the kids at home and bring your best giggles instead.

Tickets are a suggested £5 donation, and to sweeten the deal you’ll get a free hot dog. Oh, and it’s BYOB, so grab your tipple of choice and settle in for a cracking night.

It’s a brand new way to support SCV and they promise you, it’s going to be anything but a total flop!

Here’s to the first ever Total Splottshow, and to many more!
