Tremorfa Pantry Toy Exchange!

Do you have toys that your kids have outgrown? Would your little ‘uns like to swap some of their toys for different ones?

The amazing volunteers at Tremorfa Pantry have organised a toy exchange to enable just that!

Taking place on Thursday the 24th February between 10am and 2pm, the event is free of charge aims to raise funds through donations and purchases of hot beverages and cake!

Tremorfa Pantry volunteer, Jenny Ashton, said:

“The toy exchange is a chance for the community to bring in any unloved toys and swap them for something different. With everyone’s money being tight, we thought it would be a little lift in half term.

The event is free but donations are welcome. The important thing is coming along! There will be tea and coffee and cake for 50p.

There will be a tombola with sweets and chocolate for prizes. 3 tickets for £1, number ending in 0 or 5 to win. Our craft table will be open, with family friendly prices. All hand made, cards, worry worms, wish bracelets, reversible octopus’ and much, much more!

Our craft table will be open every Wednesday, during pantry hours, 10-1. With new items added every week!

We are open to ideas too, so if you are after something and want to keep it local, pop along and we will try our best. Hopefully super soon we will be setting up an online shop, or something similar so people can order and collect in person, saving on postage.

Mother’s Day boxes are £5 each and launch next week. We are hoping to carry on doing different boxes too like film night munch and Father’s Day ones too! If we can organise one, there might be a small raffle too.”

All the money raised goes back into the pantry to keep it free for all users.
