Waste collection changes from June 1st

Your weekly collections for recycling and food waste will return to normal from Monday 1st June.

Your collection day is not changing (so still pop rubbish out on a Wednesday evening after 4.30pm or before 6am on Thursdays in Splott, Tremorfa, Pengam and Adamsdown).

This means that:

♻️ Green recycling bags and food waste will be collected from each property every week, with black bag waste and hygiene waste collected every fortnight

❎ Green garden waste, bulky collections and the glass trial will remain suspended until further notice

? One-off green garden waste collections will continue to take place for the last weekend/s in May

♻️ We plan to re-open our Household Waste Recycling Centres at Lamby Way and Bessemer Close as soon as possible.

We have been working to update the calendar information for residents across the website, Cardiff Gov App and BOBi (our Chatbot).

Please be aware that the calendars only show the next three collections for your property.
